Taking Life For Granted
Stop. For a moment, stop. Close your eyes and take a breath. Then continue reading.
Did you? What did you think when you read that sentence? When you closed your eyes? When you took a breath? What were you thinking? Were you thinking that what all this fuss was about?
Did you feel the air coming in from your nostrils, filling your lungs, the freshness, the life when you breathe? Or did you just breathe because that’s what you always do? Or did you become aware a whole amazing system that works for you to breathe? That turns that breath into life?
So just as with this little exercise, that’s what most people do with their lives. They live their life because that’s what people do. They live their lives in a way that most people do. They live their lives in a certain way cause that’s the way it’s supposed to be lived.
But just reflect on this;
- Are you living or are you surviving?
Walking Dead
Just as you take breathing for granted, you take life for granted. It’s the same pattern from the tiniest to the largest.
As you go about in your life, do you stop? Do you stop to feel the life filling you? Are you actually living?
Many people fear death, but are they actually living? If you really look at it, it’s actual Walking Dead outside. Walking zombies going to work, coming back home, going to work, coming back home. If you really look it’s worse than what you see in the whole Walking Dead series. So if this is the case when you look outside, what about the inside? Is it possible that you are dead inside?
That Feeling
Many people feel this uncomfortable feeling no matter what they do and no matter who they are with. It is the feeling of restlessness. And that feeling is so intense, so intense that they don’t know what to do with it, they can’t handle it. It just stays there no matter what they do.
We’ll talk more about this feeling in the upcoming blog posts.
Moving Forward
I’d like you to suggest you to stop. Whatever you are doing, no matter how busy you are, even for a second, just stop. Take a breath and feel the life.
Feel the amazing air you breath, feel it in all your senses. Can you taste the air? I’d like to suggest you can! Did you ever realize that it tastes different every time? It all depends on what you are breathing in.
Do you remember how you felt breathing under the mask during covid time? Do you remember how uncomfortable it was? You were yearning to pull your mask down a bit just to get some fresh air. But what if this was the case for all your life?
Before you move on to the next blog post reflect on these;
- Are you living the life or are you just surviving?
- What are you breathing in?
- Are you taking your life granted?
Don’t hesitate to comment below this post! We’d like to hear your perceptions 🙂
Only Love,
