Search of Love
Love is in the air. Go out and find love. Love is here, love is there. Love is this, love is that.
Why is this love always somewhere away? Why does it have definitions?
Your task is not to seek for love, but merely to seek and find all the barriers within yourself that you have built against it.
-Rumi
Love is not something “out there” that we find by searching. It is ever present, vibrant and free within our very being, the essence of our being.
The Illusion of Seeking
Most often people believe that love is a prize to win, a hidden treasure to find in someone else, or in a circumstance. So this external seeking sets them on endless quests , chasing relationships, validation, or experiences that momentarily feel the gap but never satisfy the deep longing.
This longing is not something outside of us, it’s our soul’s call to reunite with its wholeness.
It’s not about finding love but to remove what’s preventing it from shining through.
The Barriers Within
We have built walls to protect ourselves and started living beneath stories and defenses. It’s not out of folly, but out of deep instinct to survive. Sometimes it’s a whisper saying “I’m not enough.”, sometimes it’s an old heartbreak that muffles the warmth inside.
This is not about weakness or failure, it’s about being human.
It is not to judge or condemn but to recognize and transform, to meet ourselves with uncompromising honesty.
The soul grows by subtraction, not addition. – Meister Eckhart
It’s not about acquiring more so that love reveals itself but it is unlearning what he have learnt about it. Because it’s not something to learn. It’s something we know in deepest, because that’s what we are made of.
These barriers take many forms. But here are some of those;
- Fear of Vulnerability – “If I open my heart I will be hurt.”
- Insecurities, Self Judgment, Unworthiness – “I am not enough to be loved.”
- Past Pain and Betrayal – Old wounds that say “Love is dangerous, best avoided.”
- Conditioned Beliefs – The stories we inherited that about love being scarce, conditional
- The Illusion of Separateness – Convincing us that love is something outside us, fragmented and conditional.
Love as Original Our Nature
Beneath every fear, every barrier love lies.
When the walls and barriers fall away, what remains is the selfless presense that is love itself – infinite, eternal, silent and unchanging.
And to find love means to realize it was never lost.
